Bourdex Foundation Assists Mmaju Memorial Primary school Students
Last week Friday February 24th 2017 a group of children visited “Rich House”(Chief David Ogba Onuoha Bourdex residence) in Abiriba; As he had just returned from Lagos and was resting. They were welcomed but were told he was sleeping having just returned from the airport but they insisted on seeing him.
They were served food and drinks and since they were adamant on their insistence to see Ugoena, his wife was summoned and she came to the meeting hall to see them. They told her that they were students from Mmaju Memorial Primary school and that they came to solicit his assistance in paying the various fees related to their school needs ranging from Common entrance exams fees, first school leaving exam fees, 1st and 2nd term school fees etc., she assured them that their message would be delivered to Chief Bourdex and convinced them to allow one of the drivers take them back to town with our bus, they had trekked from town; a distance of more than 3 kilometers to see Chief Bourdex.
Chiefs wife briefed him when he woke up and he summoned the Chairman of Bourdex Foundation Hon. Ndukwo Ojukwu and the Secretary Decon Peter Ogbuji and we resolved that both of them should visit the school to find out from the Principal what the true position of their fees were as well as interact with their parents and that was done last Monday.
Yesterday Wednesday 1st March members of the foundation were at the school to pay the various outstanding fees to enable them seat for their exams as well as continue with their studies. We bring you pictures from that event. To God be the Glory!!
